One Day Defensive Revolver Course

This is not a beginner's class. Students should already be familiar with safe gun handling skills and the basics of marksmanship.
This course is intended to give the revolver user a solid education and experience with:
Revolver History and Development
Advantages/Disadvantages of the Revolver for Self Defense
Mechanical Operation of the Revolver and Its Manual of Arms, radically different from semi-autos
Revolver Ammunition Selection
Revolver Holster Design and Selection
Proper Shooting Technique
Revolver Malfunctions and Their Remediation
Live-Fire Range Drills with the revolver.
You will need at least one revolver, a holster, at least one Speedloader, at least one Speed Strip, and 200 rounds of quality, American made ammunition. Trust me, cheap or foreign ammo will cause you all sorts of issues with the wheelgun. If you want top performance, I suggest Federal American Eagle 130 grain ball in .38 Special.
Feel free to bring a 6 shot medium size revolver for the bulk of the shooting and a smaller 5 shot snub for limited firing.
More details will be sent to registered students.
