Description:

This is a continuing education course for certified instructors. Its focus is on coaching individual shooters. Topics include adult learning characteristics, shooter diagnostics, shooting with deliberate speed, and more. Participants will have the opportunity to shoot the Rangemaster Pistol Master test.

Enrollment is open to Rangemaster Certified Instructors and law enforcement firearms instructors who have completed a state or federal firearms instructor course.

The lead instructor for this course is Lee Weems. Lee completed a graduate program in Workforce and Adult Education in addition to numerous other degrees. He earned the Distinguished Weapons Expert rating from the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) and is a multi-division Master class shooter in IDPA. He is a certified firearms instructor by Handgun Combatives, the Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training Council, the FBI, and FLETC, and he has Master Firearms Instructor certifications from Rangemaster and the Georgia Association of Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors. Equipment list:

• A centerfire semi-automatic pistol
• At least three magazines if 10+ round capacity, at least five magazines if sub-10 round capacity
• A holster that does not collapse when the pistol is drawn and that allows for one-handed re-holstering (no Serpas or similarly designed holsters)
• 750 rounds of ammunition
• At least 25 dummy rounds (S.T. Action Pro recommended)
• Eye/ear protection and a hat or visor with a brim/bill
• Comfort items such as snacks, drinks, and a chair

The course will be conducted at the fabulous indoor Georgia Gun Club in Buford, GA (Atlanta area). This is a very nice, modern indoor training facility.
